Amber Andersen

Amber Andersen

Veterinarian

Dr. Andersen obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Western University, and Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Dr. Andersen believes strongly in preventative care to keep pets healthy. She has extensive experience in all areas of canine and feline practice including internal medicine and surgery, dermatology, radiology, dentistry and animal behavior.

Dr. Andersen sees exotic pets including rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. She also offers house calls, hospice care, and laser therapy. She is a certified expert and trainer for Zeuterin – a non surgical neutering for male dogs procedure. Dr. Andersen also offers in-home euthanasia for your beloved pets. Many clients are delighted with her amazing bedside manner and knowledge. She looks forward to seeing you and your furry, feathered and scaly family members!


Dr. Hudson

Dr. Hudson

Veterinarian

Dr. Hudson obtained his undergraduate and veterinary degrees from Colorado State University. After graduating veterinary school in 2010, he became a southern California resident and has been working in small animal practice. He has extensive knowledge and experience in preventative medicine and surgery. When he is not working he enjoys spending time at the beach and working out. Dr. Hudson enjoys going to car shows and his favorite animal is a polar bear.

DVM, DACVIM - Small Animal Internal Medicine

Dr. Page graduated veterinary school across the pond in 2006 from University of Cambridge UK. She then did an intensive residency training at VCA All Care in Orange County Ca. Working as a boarded internal medicine specialist her interests include endocrinology, gastroenterology, immunology. She is available for in hospital consults with diagnostic ultrasound and is an exciting addition to our clinic.


Ann Reed

Ann Reed

DVM, DACVR - Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging

Dr. Reed is a 1991 graduate of Kansas State University. She completed her veterinary radiology residency in 1995 at the University of Missouri - Columbia. With this advanced training, Dr. Reed is a practicing Diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Radiology. She performs advanced diagnostic techniques including ultrasounds, ultrasound guided procedures, and radiology interpretation.


Linda Larsen

Linda Larsen

DVM, MS, DACVS - Surgery

Dr. Linda J. Larsen is a board-certified small animal surgeon covering all advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgery techniques. She received her doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. She continued her advanced training through a one year rotating medicine and surgery internship at Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine; followed by a three year surgery residency and Master of Science (MS) degree program at Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon completion of her residency Dr. Larsen accepted a one year clinical instructorship position at the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine where she trained residents, interns and students in small animal surgery. She then returned home to California entering private referral practice in 1999 and opening her own surgical services business in November, 2006.


James Kim

James Kim

DVM, DACVS

Dr. James Kim received his undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis. His post-doctorate training included internships at the Animal Specialty Emergency Center and Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, Texas. James then returned to California to complete a surgical fellowship and a three-year surgical residency at the University of California, Davis. In 2012, he obtained Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. James has joined the surgical team at Redondo Veterinary Medical and Dental Center and looks forward to providing patients with advanced surgical treatments for both orthopedic and soft tissue conditions.


Reid Nakamura

Reid Nakamura

DVM, DACVECC, DACVIM - Cardiology

Dr. Nakamura was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He attended University of California at Davis for undergraduate studies and Tufts University for veterinary school. He completed a small animal internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City and an Emergency and Critical Care Residency at Tufts University thereafter. He was in private practice in New Jersey for two years and then came to southern California to complete a cardiology residency at Advanced Veterinary Care Center. He is uniquely qualified by being board certified in both specialties. Dr. Nakamura's services include a full cardiac evaluation for your pet including electrocardiogram, cardiac ultrasound and doppler echocardiograph. A detailed treatment plan to address any findings will help your pet to receive quality care.

In his free time he enjoys running, traveling and attending sporting events along with taking care of his highly allergic Shihtzu Yuki.
