Leah Feldman

Leah Feldman

Veterinarian

Dr. Leah Feldman grew up in Huntington Beach, California with a house full of dogs, a menagerie of small critters from frogs to hamsters, and riding horses at the Orange County fair grounds. Animals have always been a central part of her life from the beginning and at the age of 10, she decided that veterinary medicine was her life’s calling. She received a bachelors degree in Animal Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in 2010.

Dr. Feldman is skilled in all areas of general practice including dermatology, internal medicine, surgery and dentistry. She has additional practice in hospice and end of life care for pets. Clients appreciate Dr. Feldman’s clinical excellence combined with her warm beside manner. She has a compassionate approach by treating all pets as family members.


Ann Murata

Ann Murata

Veterinarian

Dr. Murata is originally from Honolulu, Hawaii and a graduate of Colorado State University. Clients appreciate her years of experience in general practice and caring treatment of family pets. She enjoys seeing all types of animals, but has grown a career focus in the medical and surgical treatment of birds, small mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. She is a member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians, Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians, and the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians. Dr. Murata brings diverse knowledge and her kindhearted nature in her treatment of all patients.


Amber Andersen

Amber Andersen

Veterinarian

Dr. Andersen obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Western University, and Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Dr. Andersen believes strongly in preventative care to keep pets healthy. She has extensive experience in all areas of canine and feline practice including internal medicine and surgery, dermatology, radiology, dentistry and animal behavior.

Dr. Andersen sees exotic pets including rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. She also offers house calls, hospice care, and laser therapy. She is a certified expert and trainer for Zeuterin – a non surgical neutering for male dogs procedure. Dr. Andersen also offers in-home euthanasia for your beloved pets. Many clients are delighted with her amazing bedside manner and knowledge. She looks forward to seeing you and your furry, feathered and scaly family members!

DVM, DACVIM - Small Animal Internal Medicine

Dr. Page graduated veterinary school across the pond in 2006 from University of Cambridge UK. She then did an intensive residency training at VCA All Care in Orange County Ca. Working as a boarded internal medicine specialist her interests include endocrinology, gastroenterology, immunology. She is available for in hospital consults with diagnostic ultrasound and is an exciting addition to our clinic.


Ann Reed

DVM, DACVR - Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging

Dr. Reed is a 1991 graduate of Kansas State University. She completed her veterinary radiology residency in 1995 at the University of Missouri - Columbia. With this advanced training, Dr. Reed is a practicing Diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Radiology. She performs advanced diagnostic techniques including ultrasounds, ultrasound guided procedures, and radiology interpretation.


Howard Fischer

DVM, DACVS - Surgery

Dr. Fischer is a Diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and has been providing specialty surgical services to over 50 California Veterinary Hospitals for over 10 years. Dr. Fischer’s Team of technicians, who have over 25 years of combined experience, assist Dr. Fischer in providing for family veterinarian with surgical services in the familiar surroundings of your family veterinarian’s hospital where they are familiar with your pet’s medical history and special needs. Dr. Fischer and his team have the experience and specialized equipment to perform a wide variety of specialized and technically complex surgical procedures including TPLO (tibial plateau leveling osteotomy), medial patella luxation repair(MPL), unilateral arytenoid cartilage lateralization for laryngeal paralysis, GI and urinary tract surgeries, and a wide variety of surgical mass removals.


Linda Larsen

DVM, MS, DACVS - Surgery

Dr. Linda J. Larsen is a board-certified small animal surgeon covering all advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgery techniques. She received her doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) degree from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. She continued her advanced training through a one year rotating medicine and surgery internship at Texas A&M University, College of Veterinary Medicine; followed by a three year surgery residency and Master of Science (MS) degree program at Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon completion of her residency Dr. Larsen accepted a one year clinical instructorship position at the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine where she trained residents, interns and students in small animal surgery. She then returned home to California entering private referral practice in 1999 and opening her own surgical services business in November, 2006.


Reid Nakamura

Reid Nakamura

DVM, DACVECC, DACVIM - Cardiology

Dr. Nakamura was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. He attended University of California at Davis for undergraduate studies and Tufts University for veterinary school. He completed a small animal internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City and an Emergency and Critical Care Residency at Tufts University thereafter. He was in private practice in New Jersey for two years and then came to southern California to complete a cardiology residency at Advanced Veterinary Care Center. He is uniquely qualified by being board certified in both specialties. Dr. Nakamura's services include a full cardiac evaluation for your pet including electrocardiogram, cardiac ultrasound and doppler echocardiograph. A detailed treatment plan to address any findings will help your pet to receive quality care.

In his free time he enjoys running, traveling and attending sporting events along with taking care of his highly allergic Shihtzu Yuki.
