Born and raised in the South Bay, Jessica is pursuing her Associates of Science at El Camino College. Upon completion, she intends to enroll at Mt. San Antonio College in order to get her technician’s license. While currently undecided as to her major, Jessica would eventually like to get her bachelors at Oregon State University. Besides caring for her own pets (a bunny named Thumper and three cats: Nali, Pepper, and BK), Jessica fosters for Paws with Needs. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys playing volleyball and would like to eventually get her scuba license. If you happen to see her in the office, ask her to do her Chewbacca impersonation!

Tameko

A long time native of Los Angeles County, Tameko is currently working on her Biology major at CSULB. Tameko began training as a veterinary assistant in 2003, and due to her sincere love of animals, she has been in the veterinary field ever since. For several years, Tameko has also been grooming pets, including her own three year old Havanese – Nino. A typical day at the office always consists of Cowboy and Nino begging for food and chasing each other around the treatment area!

Marissa

Raised in Long Beach, Marissa has always had a passion for helping animals. She is currently attending CSULB for her degree in Biology and hopes to continue on into veterinary school. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis and watching hockey and football. She has one dog - a Labrador Retriever named Cody and three cats - George, Penny and Scampers.
